This recipe is a winner for us. The seasoning blend is right on to the packaged mix we WERE buying. And the ability to customize is always a plus.

I have to say this recipe is a great alternative to the taco seasoning packets that contain ingredients I don’t want to eat. In my opinion it’s always better to make my own stuff so I know what’s in it. Thanks for a great recipe!

This worked in a pinch, but the whole family agreed that it tasted more like a chili seasoning than taco seasoning. Thanks for sharing, WildlifeDi!

This was good but a bit bland for me. When I added the 7 teaspoons to the meat I also add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. I will spice it up a bit more next time.

I thought this was a good recipe, although I did add 1 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Other than that, I thought it was great! Thanks!

Nice recipe but the kids thought it was a little bland, not sure what seems to be missing….salt? I added a little salt and salsa and tomato sauce.

We all agreed that this was lacking flavor. Not sure if we will use it again. But if we do I will double the amount of seasoning used and tweak it with some additional ingredients.

I found it a bit bland. I added some garlic powder, cornstarch, salt and pepper.

Absolutely wonderful! I used it in my taco soup recipe. I had all the ingredients on hand and with a son with a corn allergy this is heaven sent! Thanks!
